1. Information Collected

The 12th platform collects various types of personal information from users to ensure that our services run smoothly, securely, and in a way that is relevant to your needs. This information is collected transparently and only for legitimate purposes in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010. The following are the main categories of information that may be collected when you register for or use the 12th platform.

Account Information

During registration, you are required to provide your full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and password. This information is used to verify your identity, enable secure login, and ensure that only eligible users can access the platform. We also retain betting history and transaction records associated with your account for internal record-keeping and legal compliance purposes.

Device & Browser Information

When you browse the 12th platform, our systems automatically log technical information such as your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, screen resolution, and language settings. This data helps us detect suspicious activity, optimise the user experience across different devices, and resolve technical issues more quickly and accurately.

Local Payment / MYR Information

To process deposits and withdrawals in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), 12th collects information relating to your chosen payment method, including your bank name, bank account number or e-wallet number, and transaction records. Full card numbers and sensitive payment details are not stored directly on our servers — all payment data is handled through certified payment providers that comply with PCI-DSS security standards.

Usage Data

We record user activity within the platform — including games played, session duration, login frequency, settings preferences, and interactions with specific buttons or features. This usage data is aggregated and analysed to improve platform design, refine game recommendations, and develop new features more relevant to Malaysian users.

2. How We Use Your Information

Information collected by 12th is used solely for platform operations, service improvement, and compliance with applicable Malaysian law. We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to the services you agreed to receive at registration. All data processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate necessity and is limited to the minimum scope required.

The primary purposes for which we use your information include the following: first, to create and manage your user account, including the identity verification (KYC) process required by Malaysian financial authorities. Second, to process all deposit and withdrawal transactions in MYR accurately and securely through local payment networks. Third, to provide effective customer support when you contact the 12th support team with any enquiries or complaints.

Beyond that, your data is also used to send important account-related notifications such as transaction confirmations, security alerts, and platform policy updates that require your attention. We also use aggregated, non-personally identifiable information for internal analytics to understand overall platform usage patterns. Where you have given express consent, your information may be used to send relevant promotions or offers through your preferred communication channels — and you may withdraw this consent at any time.

3. Cookies & Tracking

The 12th platform uses cookie technology and similar tracking mechanisms to enhance user experience, ensure the platform functions correctly, and analyse traffic patterns on our website. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit the 12th platform, allowing it to recognise you on subsequent visits without requiring you to log in each time. The use of cookies is standard practice in the digital platform industry and poses no security risk to your device.

12th uses three main categories of cookies. First, essential cookies required for core platform functions such as login session authentication, form security, and transaction basket management — these cookies cannot be disabled as they are critical to basic operations. Secondly, performance cookies that collects information on how users interact with platform pages, helping us identify areas for improvement. Third, preference cookies that saves your preferences such as display language and currency format, so your experience feels personalised with every session.

You can manage your cookie settings through your internet browser at any time, including choosing to reject or delete stored cookies. However, disabling certain cookies may affect specific functions of the 12th platform and your overall user experience. In addition to cookies, we also use pixel tracking and server logging technologies to monitor system security and detect unauthorised access attempts in real time.

4. Data Storage & Security

Keeping your personal data secure is a responsibility we take very seriously at 12th. All user data is stored on servers protected by 256-bit SSL encryption, ensuring that every transmission between your device and our servers cannot be intercepted or read by unauthorised parties. Our server infrastructure is further secured with intrusion detection systems (IDS), multi-layered firewalls, and round-the-clock security monitoring.

User personal data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the original purpose of collection, or as required by applicable Malaysian law, whichever is longer. Financial transaction records are kept for a minimum of seven (7) years in line with Malaysian financial legislation, while active account data is retained for the duration the account remains active. Once an account is closed, data will be held for the legally prescribed period before being securely deleted using non-recoverable methods.

While 12th takes all reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, no system can guarantee absolute security in a digital environment. You also play a role in keeping your account safe — use a strong and unique password, never share your login credentials, and notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account via the official 12th support email.

5. Sharing Information with Third Parties

12th does not sell, rent, or disclose users' personal information to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes without your explicit consent. Our core principle is that your data belongs to you — we act only as a responsible custodian of that data for as long as you use the platform. Any data sharing that does occur is limited in scope, purposeful, and governed by strict data protection agreements.

There are limited circumstances in which user information may be shared with carefully selected third parties. Certified payment service providers that process your MYR transactions will receive the relevant information needed to complete those transactions, and they are bound by strict PCI-DSS security standards. Technology and cloud infrastructure providers that support the operation of the 12th platform may also process your data, but solely in the capacity of data processors — not as independent data controllers — and they are subject to contractually binding confidentiality agreements.

In certain circumstances, 12th may be required by law to disclose user information to Malaysian government authorities, law enforcement agencies, or a court of competent jurisdiction where a valid court order or binding regulatory compliance requirement exists. Any such request will be carefully reviewed by our legal team before any disclosure is made, and we will notify the affected user where permitted to do so by law.

6. User Rights – Access, Rectification & Erasure

As a registered 12th platform user, you have specific rights over your personal data in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010. These rights can be exercised at any time by contacting our support team via the official email address available on the platform, and we are committed to processing every request within a reasonable timeframe.

Right to Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time. Data access requests will be processed within thirty (30) business days from the date the request is received, and the information will be provided in a machine-readable format upon request. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for repeated or excessive requests.

Right to Rectification: If you find that the personal data we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, you have the right to request that we correct or update it promptly. You can update certain details — such as your phone number and email address — directly through your 12th account settings, while changes to core identity information require additional verification through the KYC process.

Right to Erasure: Under certain circumstances, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data from 12th's systems — for example, when the data is no longer needed for its original purpose or when you withdraw your consent. However, this right is subject to record-keeping obligations imposed by Malaysian law, particularly for financial transaction records that must be retained for the period specified by the relevant authorities. Deletion requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and we will inform you of the outcome within the stipulated timeframe.

7. Policy Changes & How to Contact Us

12th reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, new legal requirements, or improvements to industry data protection standards. Users will be notified of any material amendments via in-platform notifications or registered email at least seven (7) days before the changes take effect. You are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy page periodically to stay informed of the latest version applicable to your use of the platform.

The "Effective Date" shown at the top of this document reflects when the most recent amendments were made. Continued use of the 12th platform after any policy changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with any amendments, you have the right to stop using the platform and request account closure before the changes come into effect.

If you have any questions, concerns, or complaints regarding this Privacy Policy or how 12th handles your personal data, please contact our Data Protection Officer by email at: [email protected]. We are committed to responding to all enquiries within seven (7) business days and will work to resolve every concern in a manner that is fair, transparent, and consistent with applicable Malaysian data protection law.
